Venues in the U.S. such as stadiums, schools, offices, and theme parks need ways to keep out people with weapons while letting in everyone else, quickly and efficiently. Evolv’s detectors use advanced sensing and AI to improve on old-fashioned magne­tome­ters and manual pat-downs. The devices don’t search for metal — they search for guns, knives, and pipe bombs and show operators who’s carrying them and where, allowing them to minimize and pinpoint body searches and process thousands of people per hour.
