Radiant has designed a fission microreactor that’s fueled by ceramic-coated particles of high-assay, low-enriched uranium (HALEU) and cooled by helium gas. This meltdown-proof design is small enough to fit in a tractor-trailer and powerful enough to run a medical clinic or military installation.
