Adil leverages his extensive experience working across the crop R&D pipeline, including regulatory affairs and computational sciences, to assist DCVC Bio in evaluating deep tech opportunities in agriculture.
Prior to joining DCVC Bio, he spent over a decade at Monsanto and at Bayer, where he developed solutions that significantly advanced sustainable agriculture. Adil served as the Biologics Discovery Program Lead within Bayer’s Crop Science division, leading the transformation of Bayer’s microbial discovery and field-testing strategies and shifting them toward high-value, sustainable targets. He also spearheaded and nurtured partnerships with numerous biotechnology and life science companies, including Pivot Bio, to effectively achieve these renewable goals.
Adil earned a master’s degree and a PhD in microbiology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Ohio Wesleyan University.
