Gregg is a go-to-market expert who helps DCVC’s climate, energy, and related portfolio companies align their customer needs, GTM approach, talent, and investor expectations. His passion is working with founding teams to achieve and improve that alignment, drawing on two decades of experience in the clean technology industry.
Before joining DCVC, Gregg led several climate-tech companies and ran the Renewable Power Group at Chevron, where he achieved 300% above-target earnings and 30% annual investment returns while leading the development and investment of 200 MW of utility-scale solar and geothermal projects. He developed much of his GTM expertise at Keystone Strategy, a consulting firm founded by Harvard Business School professors, where he led strategy engagements for many of the world’s most recognized technology brands. Gregg earned a bachelor’s degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude, and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School, graduating with highest honors.
