Jeff Phaneuf

Jeff is DCVC’s Chief of Staff. Jeff has led teams in politics, the military, and non-profits. He served as campaign manager and Chief of Staff for Congressman Seth Moulton, commanded a Marine infantry platoon on a combat deployment to Iraq, and led advocacy efforts for No One Left Behind, the longest-standing non-profit supporting America’s Afghan and Iraqi allies. Jeff founded Adven­turelist, an outdoor adventure sport marketplace, and has worked at various defense and biotech startups. Jeff received a bachelor’s degree in history and literature from Harvard University, an MPA in inter­na­tional relations from Princeton University, and an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
